COVID-19 Protocols

Please be advised of the following COVID-19 protocols for in-person conference attendance:

Requirements for Entering a Conference Activity or Session

In order to join any of the Animal Grantmakers Conference activities and sessions in person in Denver October 22 - 24, each conference attendee will be required to:

  • Submit upon arrival proof of COVID-19 vaccination, which is two weeks after receiving a single-dose coronavirus vaccine (Johnson & Johnson) or the second dose of a two-dose vaccine series (Pfizer and Moderna)
  • Take a COVID-19 test. Attendees will be required to take an antigen rapid test provided by Animal Grantmakers upon arrival. Attendees may take the test at the main Animal Grantmakers Conference hotel; OR, on the DU campus. This rapid testing will provide results in 15 minutes
    • Attendees who do not wish to take the on-site COVID-19 test will not be able to attend the conference activities and sessions on the DU campus
  • Complete a survey of symptoms (to be filled out two hours prior to arrival on campus or upon arrival; QR code and link will be available)

You will only be expected to show proof of vaccination once (upon first arrival) and a negative COVID-19 test result once (anytime between first arrival and gaining entry to any DU campus buildings).

Mask Requirements During Conference Attendance

The University of Denver requires the use of masks on the Denver campus. To help prevent the spread of COVID-19, all attendees must wear masks indoors, even fully-vaccinated persons, unless actively eating or drinking. All attendees must also wear masks while indoors at all off-campus conference activities.
