Animal Grantmakers offers an Annual Conference for our current and prospective members to convene in person, and participate in learning opportunities to strengthen their practice and grow their professional network.

Registration is now open for the 2018 Animal Grantmakers Conference, which will be held October 14 – 17, 2018 in Boston, MA at the Boston Marriott Newton. The four days of education, engagement and enjoyment will take advantage of the deep marine expertise in the region while covering a wide range of topics of interest to members across the animal protection field.
The conference will also include field trips to The New England Wildlife Center, Foster Parrots, and Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution (WHOI), a welcome reception, a screening of the documentary film, Sonic Sea; a keynote presentation from Dr. Michael Moore, director of the WHOI Marine Mammal Program; a wealth of expert panelists including Dr. Stormy Mayo of the Center for Coastal Studies and Ron Kagan, head of the Detroit Zoo; and a special session at Harvard Law School related to climate change and farm animals.
Please note that the conference is not open to the general public. Participation is limited to members of Animal Grantmakers, and to organizations that are primarily grantmakers.
