Mission Statement or Description
The mission of The Quinn Foundation is to preserve terrestrial and marine ecosystems, including mitigating global climate change; protect companion, farmed, and wild animals; create a more humane and sustainable food system free of factory farming; and promote a compassionate, vegan lifestyle.

Stray Dog Institute (affiliated organization) Mission: To cultivate dignity, justice, and sustainability in the food system, Stray Dog Institute provides nonprofit allies with funding, strategic research, and opportunities for collaboration. Together, we hope to build a more compassionate world for people, animals, and the environment.
Areas of Funding - Species
Companion animals, equine animals, farmed terrestrial and aquatic animals (primarily cows, pigs, poultry, fish), animals used for testing, whales and select other marine animals, select terrestrial wild animals e.g. coyotes (currently winding down wild animal funding). Human animal causes.
Areas of Funding - Project Types
Direct care/shelters/sanctuaries, policy change, litigation, narrative change, movement-building/systems change, vegan & diet change campaigns/animal product reduction efforts, general operating support.
Geographic Focus/Priorities
Fund primarily in the US, small amounts of international food systems-focused grants through Stray Dog Institute.
