The Common Good:
Why Animals Matter to People and Philanthropy
Immediately prior to the Annual Conference in Denver, Animal Grantmakers will be sponsoring a special, one-day program track at Philanthropy Southwest's 73rd Annual Conference at the Omni Oklahoma City Hotel on Wednesday, October 20.
In addition to our animal-themed sessions and all general sessions at Philanthropy Southwest on October 20, Animal Grantmakers members in attendance at the conference are invited to a private Opening Night Reception at the brand new Oklahoma Contemporary Arts Center (sponsored by the Kirkpatrick Family Fund and Kirkpatrick Foundation) on October 19 and a unique event featuring Project Coyote (planned by the Summerlee Foundation) after dinner on October 20. Program information will be updated regularly.
Note: In-person registrations will be limited to 25 attendees, and available to Animal Grantmakers members only on a first-come, first-served basis. Register and reserve your room at the Omni Hotel at the special conference rate by September 27.
Non-members may register to attend online through October 15, and are also welcome to register for the Philanthropy Southwest Conference directly. Members who plan to participate virtually should also register by October 15.
Those who attend both events live can take a short flight from Oklahoma City to Denver on Thursday, October 21, 2021.
At both events, Animal Grantmakers will be following local COVID-19 mandates and guidelines, and ensuring that attendees comply with the requirements and requests at each venue to be visited.
If you are interested in becoming an Animal Grantmakers 2021 Conference Sponsor (sponsorships include visibility at both events), please contact email@example.com. Please direct all other conference inquiries to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Participation is limited to members of Animal Grantmakers and organizations that are primarily grantmakers. If you are interested in learning more about Animal Grantmakers and attending the conference for free as a first-time guest, please email us.
